My 500th Wedding
Today’s wedding was a special one as it marked my 500th wedding!
I set off early from Glasgow to arrive in Bathgate for 8.30am, allowing plenty of time to get my bride Laura and her bridal party ready for her wedding at The Vu.
It was a busy wedding morning with a lot of people around, in order to keep a relaxed and calm environment I decided to split hair and makeup into two rooms so people could come and go. This also allows space for the arrival of the photographer and florist. From experience if the room gets too busy the bride can start to get over whelmed so I always try to find a little quiet corner to be our sanctuary.
Today was a very windy day up to speeds of 30mph, so it definitely wasn’t a day for hair down! We created lots of soft, yet secure up dos and had plenty of extra kirbies and hairspray on hand to deal with the elements!
Congratulations Laura and all the best for the future.
