I was lucky enough to be booked to do hair and makeup for Erin’s wedding this summer. Most of my weddings cover Glasgow, Loch Lomond and Ayrshire so every now and then when I get a chance to do a wedding further out I make a little road trip out of it.

Another great morning at Gleddoch House Hotel this time getting Linda and her bridal party ready. Absolutely loved all the different hairstyles the girls went for.

I had the pleasure last month of traveling to GG’s Yard in Dumfries to style hair for Jenna’s wedding day.

This hairstyle is still proving popular for our brides and bridesmaids this year. It’s a classic hairstyle which never goes out of date. It can work well on fine hair types and well as thicker hair types.

This months trend has been all about those soft waves. I use either hair tongs, ghds or a wand to create these curls depending on the brides hair type and how well it holds a curl.
